The staff were amazing at this hotel however before staying here I stayed at the regent and to be honest the regent felt more luxurious because of things like they had bath menu,pillow menu and free minibar which had wine etc and face masks . But to reiterate the staff were amazing and appreciated their touches for my engagement. But the hotel just felt lacking coming from the regent

Good value in terms of room size. Great location in the city center.

Dennis at the front desk and the doorman Oliver and Jack provided excellent service. They were warm, professional, and attentive throughout, which made a very positive first impression. Their thoughtful and efficient assistance was especially appreciated and deserves recognition.

Everything was PERFECT!!

We stayed 3 days at The Peninsula Beijing and we loved it very much. The front desk staff were all professional, kind, and made us feel very welcome. My name is Selina and the whole family was very happy with our stay.

Hotel does not have a lobby area. You enter directly to the Restaurant which is located between stores. Feels like a food court in a mall. Rooms are very large which is nice and very comfy. Bathroom spacious and nice. Hallways to the rooms are old and do need tlc and smell funny. Food was not very good to be honest. We ordered room service, a millefeuille as part of the order and we got a funny looking cake with fruits inside (weird)… Breakfast had many options but not very tasty, lots of asian options. Nice selection for kiddos though with Paddington as a theme. Very well located. In short it is a nice hotel, not wow, its run down but ok. If you want wow this is NOT it. Staff is nice but thats it.

Service is superb - comparable to Bvlgari and better than four season / park Hyatt… etc

The breakfast buffet was excellent. The property is very clean and comfortable. There are many expensive shops on the property.

The rooms at this hotel are excellent—spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Housekeeping also deserves recognition for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and consistency throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the service in other areas fell far short of expectations. The concierge team was not particularly knowledgeable and offered little in the way of helpful guidance. Even more disappointing was the attitude of the bellboys and greeters, who seemed largely indifferent. There was no warm welcome, no greetings, and no proactive offer of assistance, which is surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, while the physical aspects of the stay were impressive, the lack of attentive and engaging service made the experience disappointing.
