Poor staff service and attitude

Vogliono dare un aria da boutique hotel, ma l’hotel pur essendo simpatico, non offre niente e nelle stanze non danno ne le classiche bottiglie di acqua potabile che tutti gli hotel di Hong Kong danno e neanche le bustine di caffè dolubile anche queste tradizionali… Troppo caro per quello che offre. Nessun ristorante e c’è soltanto un piccolo bar nella confusa reception

One male staff who served at front desk on 13th Feb afternoon was rude. Firstly he coldly asked us to fill in the declare form, however he didn’t guide us how and where to complete the form so both of us standing in front of him for 5 mins waiting for nothing. After completing the form he told us we were not able to check in as my address is on their covid list. Given that my building does not have any confirmed case, but still being rejected from the hotel. He then said they will refund the full amount to me (which I still cannot see it on my bank statement, not sure about the progress). To be honest I’m not quite happy with the policy of the hotel, however the attitude of the male staff is rude that makes me wonder whether they have provided any customer service training to their staff. I even asked the male staff if there’s any manager that I can talk to. He directly told me no. After a while I asked again, he just asked the female staff next to him to answer my questions, and he simply just walked away. I don’t see why hotel front desk staff can be that rude and giving such bad attitude to customers.

The reception was not willing to accommodate. The in-room ipad is useless as it only allows to chat with a chatbot but does not allow web browsing.

Overall is very good with nice price. I booked here because of the Netflix in room, but my room doesn’t have Netflix so I’m disappointed.

Except the toilet is quite dirty, stain on the toilet seat. Other than that, the most impressive is the huge TV and the TV come with Netflix.

Overall I would rate it as a good stay. Room was comfy especially the bed. I stayed in the theatre room which was nice with a projector and a large screen on the wall to watch movies. Bathroom was clean and spacious with a Toto toilet seat that was great offering a warm seating and cleaning functions for your private areas. Places for improvement:- No coffee but a coffee machine was available Weak batteries in the remote
