We were given the wrong room, terrible room without a reason and there was no manager during the night, then were given a room with bed bugs filling the room and beds. They moved us to a good room

very budget hotel. great location and bed was clean and not to bad to sleep on. thou top floor room and slopy window and blind hanging straight down didn't cut out much sunlight. no kettle (have to buy pods for the machine in the room yourself) nor toilet paper in the room. very steep stairs (common to A-dam i been told) but not for the faint hearted or slightly drunk.

Hotel Di Ann is very good for solo or couples traveling. Its in a great location right near the Anne Frank House and in a great neighborhood. This is why I chose it as I wanted to visit the Anne Frank museum. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and helped make the stay better with their positive attitude. The room I had was very small but it was nice with a balcony. Unfortunately I was there during the heat wave and with no ac there was very little air movement. The only other thing I will say is do not book here if you cannot climb 2 steep flights of tiny steps up a narrow stairway juat to check in. The stairs are very dangerous in this hotel with a tight radius turn at the top that shrinks each step smaller than your foot. The check in is on the 2nd floor and rooms are above that. This was ok for me but I have a bad shoulder so by the time I got to my 4th floor room carrying luggage in front of me, I was sweaty and more tired from a day of travel. When I left I was afraid I would fall down the steps with my large luggage. But I made it. Haha I would stay here again if there is a fan or ac or cooler weather and I had light luggage.

Great, central location but very tired. Clean but basic. Comfortable bed but like being back in the 1970s.

It was great!

To access the registration desk you must climb 2 steep spiral flights of stairs with your luggage. Then once we got to the registration desk we had to climb another flight up another narrow, steep spiral flight of stairs with our luggage to get to the room. So if you have any physical impairments you should know there is no elevator. The room had no AC. During our visit there was a heat wave and it was miserable. Opening the windows was the only option for air movement and the street noise was so loud. These factors made it very difficult to sleep. We checked in late due to severe train issues along the way and the front desk person was not real helpful. The sheets seemed dirty with several strains of hair present. The room was in need of some repairs. We decided to check out early and find a nicer room. As we were leaving the manager asked why we were leaving early (she denied our request for a refund for the night we chose to leave early. We booked through booking who told us it was up to property manager. Disappointed of course but what was more upsetting was the argumentative attitude of the manager to every complaint (she asked us to list we were not going to complain) when we gave up trying to continue the “conversation” she followed my teenage son out of the office to continue to badger him. As a mom I was very upset about that. Not happy with this establishment or our stay or how we were tea when we chose to leave early.

You get what you pay for. Staff was friendly, room was clean and the bed was ok. No elevator and the stairs are steep. This is not a fancy place, but if you plan to only sleep there its perfectly fine. Good value for money. Good location.

The location was excellent and much of the reason that we booked this hotel. The disadvantages were - no air conditioning or fan provided despite the 40°C heat wave, the room was only moderately clean with many stains noted on the bedding and around the room, and THE STAIRS. Having to lug suitcases up/down the tremendous amount of stairs made the stay significantly more inconvenient. We also read some previous reviews regarding bed bugs which added some additional paranoia to the stay. I would not recommend staying here for more than one night.

The hotel is perfectly located, within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable- only minor drawback was the wet room, but it didn’t affect our stay. As well as this, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We had a very pleasant experience and would happily stay here again!
