For a rushed booking at a low cost, Haven Inn was a great place to stay! Staff were always available, my room was fresh, neat, and clean, my bed was comfy, and I was never disturbed from any noises.
Perfect? No. The bathroom was a bit cramped around the toilet space. No gym amenities (if that matters to you). But any blemishes were tiny in scope, and I'm overall quite happy with my stay!

I did a online payment even thought it says in CAD still i got charged in USD. Please be sure to check how they are charging online because online price will more than paying at property.

Please do not go there. Is horrible, smells so bad, cigarette smoke odour everywhere from reception to the rooms. The rooms are so dirty, with mould, the bed frame so weak that every turn on the bed is a sound of the weak frame. Even a school dormitory is far better.

parking was great but we were assigned room # 1 the locking mechanism for the front dr was hard to close as we had to do it a certain way for the dr to close. we had to take our personal belongings n leave it in our car as we had a wedding to attend in ancaster.

This is a great spot if you’re looking for somewhere economical for a night or two. While I agree the property and room is showing its age, my room very clean and comfortable and just what I needed for a quick stay without spending too much money. It is also located in a good place for grabbing food and other essentials. I had a pleasant stay and everything I needed. I was also upgraded from a queen to a king at no extra cost. I would return again if staying alone and just needed somewhere clean and basic to stay.

The hotel needs an upgrade, the walls are dirty and so are the doors. Although there is no smoking, we could smell the smoke if the person sitting outside smoking. As well, you have to get the desk person to inspect your room prior to leaving to get your deposit back...kind of odd and makes me wonder if the clientele who sleep there.
