We had a 2 bedroom / 2 ensuite apartment with 180 degree waterfront and beach views.
Loved the sound of the rolling waves on the shore, but sadly a few hoons used the road in front as a drag strip.
The apartment furniture was a little dated, but bathrooms and bed were top notch.
It was also immaculately clean.
Less than a 10 minute walk to the Russell ferry and shops.
Superb friendly welcome with advice what to do in the surrounding area and was so accommodating.
Quiet season (winter) but still a great experience.
I would highly recommend the Edgewater Palm Apartments

Amazing views from our large rooms, hosts were very friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother. The kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances. The only thing to watch out for is the exit from the car park is rather tight so be careful when exiting the car park so not to damage your car. We would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful unit, very well appointed. In an excellent position, close enough to walk to town and the wharf. Great little cafe next door
Loved the 2 bathrooms as we were 2 females travelling together.
Only had 3 nights but wished we could have stayed longer

We had an enjoyable stay at Edgewater Palms in Paihia.
The location is fantastic, and the apartment, while compact, had everything we needed. We stayed in Apartment 25, which offered a pleasant partial sea view.
A minor drawback was that the lifts were out of service during our visit, which made getting to our Level 2 apartment a bit inconvenient. However, the reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even assisting us with our luggage, which made a big difference.
The infinity pool is a standout feature. Although it isn’t heated, it’s still very nice once you’re in and a great place to unwind.
Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service in a great location, despite a few small inconveniences
