Basic Hostel, clean, the staff was amazing!

Staff was very kind. I came in around midnight and they made sure someone kept an eye out for me juat in case I got lost. Excellent dinner recommendations and they made the reservation for me. Very cozy. The stairs are a bit steep for anyone who has accessability issues

It was close to the station and next to a very interesting art/furniture store that I enjoyed visiting.

It was a beautifully renovated building that felt incredibly warm and welcoming. Much better than a cookie-cutter hotel room.

My friend and I stayed here for the week after New Years. It was really, really lovely. The other guests were very friendly, and the staff were extremely helpful as well. The guesthouse itself is conveniently located (one train stop away from Sannomiya) and there's a supermarket not far away if you wish to use the guesthouse kitchen. The accommodations and bathrooms were comfortable, with female-only facilities as well. Guesthouse MAYA is a relaxing, chic place to spend your time in Kobe. Perhaps you'll meet some new friends too!
