The apartment was spotless, beautiful and in a great location.

The apartment was very big and close to transport links. The checking in process was flawless and we would definitely stay here again.

We found it very hard to come up with anything bad about our stay the location facilities cleanliness were all fantastic we will be staying again we only found the bed rather hard and uncomfortable as we are in our 70s but maybe not a problem for younger folk

Check in was very smooth. We got an email with the code and it worked perfectly. Common rooms and our room were lovely and very clean with lots of space, storage, and natural light. We had an issue and they fixed it the next day when I emailed about it. Plenty of utensils, plates, variety of glasses, etc. Fridge was a mini fridge. Laundry and dish soap provided. The washer/dryer was a nightmare. We tried several cycle options but it always came down to either wet cloths or a 3 hour drying cycle (and one you start you cant get your cloths out until its done). Our 1st floor room let in some street noise and on the weekend especially people were walking by and chatting until late in the night. There is heat but no air conditioning although 2 small fans were provided. Some windows opened a few inches but some were painted shut. 1 full bathroom with shower and then 1 extra shower (but no sink or toilet). I would 100% recommend this place as long as you have no plans to do laundry, are not a very light sleeper, and do not get warm easily. I'd stay again except in the summer.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for what we were looking for and was near everything, all within walking distance.

The property is in a good location, it was very comfortable and clean.

This place was absolutely spotless! Very accommodating as we were able to store our luggage onsite while we waited for check in. Staff were very responsive. Location wise, it is in a great spot. Tons of food and things to do nearby and everything is walkable. I loved being able to dial in a code to get in and out of the building as well as our room so I did not have to worry about a key card since there is no front desk. Will definitely book with them again next time I am in Scotland!

I'd really recommend Distiller's House, our apartment was immaculately clean & very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped & the tea & coffee sachets etc were a nice touch, as was the coffee maker. All communication was done via WhatsApp which was handy & straightforward. Distiller's House is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood, but is so convenient for Haymarket train station & the West End tram stop. There's a few nice pubs very close by & a fabulous Italian restaurant about a two minute walk. I'd definitely return to Distiller's House in the future, the only (very minor) issue I had was that our apartment had only the one mirror (in the bathroom) which wasn't ideal for two of us trying to get ready at the same time. I wear contact lens & had to squeeze myself into the gap between the toilet & sink to insert and remove my lens. A wall mirror (or something similar) in the bedroom area would be really convenient. So I would recommend bringing a small mirror (either handheld or that you can prop up on the table) if you are staying in apartment 12. Aside from that, Distiller's House did not disappoint, the communal areas are very elegant & again, absolutely spotless...highly recommended.
