Great value for the money

Great location and value for the money

The lobby and rooms were very clean. The room did get really hot, especially in the corner where the fan didn’t reach. I loved that there was a convenience store downstairs, and the location was next to everything we wanted to do. The bathroom was also a little cramped, but not too badly. Still a great hotel option in a busy city like Seoul.

Pros: Staff (front desk, housekeeping) were overall friendly and helpful. The room was clean and you couldn't get a better location if you're planning to spend the majority of your time shopping in Myeongdong. Also, the hotel is located a stone's throw away from the metro station, which made transportation a breeze. Cons: 1. Despite getting a non-smoking room, the room reeked of old cigarette smell despite having an air purifier in the room. 2. Our room was booked for two adults and one child. We were consistently given two bath towels instead of three, which is a major deficiency in terms of "amenities" in my opinion for a hotel. 3. When we asked for an extra pillow, we were told it costs an extra 5000Won ($3+ USD) per pillow per night, which is outrageous. I don't think I have ever had that experience in my last 20+ years of traveling. Maybe these extra charges were listed on their website, I am not sure. However, if that's the case, it should be listed where it is clearly visible to potential guest(s) as I certainly didn't see this when I made the booking. If I had seen it clearly written on their website, then it would have been fine because then I would know what to expect going in. Overall, the cons outweigh the pros in my book. Therefore, we will definitely not be booking with them if we ever return for a visit. There are many other hotels around that area.

The hotel is in a great location with a convenience store attached but that’s about it unfortunately. Rooms are very dated and the beds were really uncomfortable. Our towels were worn, some even had holes. The hotel is well overdue for a refresh. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning our room.

The bathroom has a very high step to step up into the room so people with mobility issues may want to consider this before booking. The bathroom also has no ventilation but at least we did not have any sewage drain smells. The area is right in the busy tourist area so is very convenient for shopping and street food but will be loud at night even where we were on the top 8th floor. There is also no way to turn off all of the lights in the room without taking your keycard out of the room which will also turn off the air conditioner so you either have to sleep with the lights on or sleep being warm.

Convenient location. Close to shopping and the room was nice and clean.

Couldn’t be happier with this prime location. I intentionally pick this hotel to be close to everything nearby. The staff at the front desk are so nice and welcoming :)

All staff are very attentive. Location was super good

It is an amazing location right in the heart of Myeongdong market. Plenty of shops, restaurants and the convenience of GS25 right below. The front staff are super friendly and accommodating. They provided a steamer which was really important for us to have clothes ready for a wedding. Best part is having the convenience to drop off bags/items in your room or take a rest any time due to its location. Only downside is our junior room's bathroom is ~1ft raised above floor level therefore those who are limited in accessibility may struggle to use the bathroom. It isnt easy for cars to get to this location so plan accordingly for pick up and drop offs. Besides this everything else was great :)
