I came to Istanbul with my family including 2 toddlers aged 4 and 6. This is the ideal location to stay. So close to all the best tourist spots. The hotel is boutique and the staff are wonderful. They added to the beauty of this wonderful city.

What a sweet place! Staff lovely. Breakfast delicious. Location ideal.

Right in the middle of most of historic sites. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topaki Palace, Basilica Cistern, the park, several bazaars - all of that in walking distance. Multiple authentic restaurants on the same short street.

This was a last minute reservation for one night. The hotel was pretty nice, we got a free upgrade to an upper level room with a balcony which made the room much nicer with a view of Gulhane Park. Breakfast was pretty good, staff were extremely curteous. I should add that the hotel location is quite convenient in the heart of sultan ahmet district, minutes away from many attractions,such as blue Mosque, Topkapi palace hagia Sofia, spice bazaar, and Gulhane Park.

We have returned to this property several times over twenty years- I doubt you will find a more friendly, helpful and engaged staff anywhere. This has always been a family owned property and they make you feel like family (including a tradition of waving goodbye to guests). We were sorry to hear that the owner passed a few years ago at a young age but that the family remains in an ownership position. Although the property remains very clean and the breakfast offering and value added tours and gatherings remain very good, this is a complicated time for tourism in Turkey. Proximity to an unsettled part of the world and internal politics in Turkey have obviously affected tourism. As a result, there are minor maintenance issues (some peeling paint, some tired electronics etc,,,) that have slightly diminished the property’s previous flawless state of repair. Notwithstanding this minor observation, I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for its central location near historical sites, its very engaged staff, value added events and its high standard of cleanliness and service.

Très bel hôtel, personnel très gentil et serviable. Nous avons pris une chambre supérieure avec balcon donnant sur la rue et le parc adjacent et c’était magnifique. Localisation excellente près de palais de Topkapi, du musée d’archéologie et du tramway. Excellent choix.

If you want to be in the middle of the exotic old Istanbul and in the heart of its best street life, you could not choose better. Much more, the hotel staff could not be more helpful.
