Beautiful and well landscaped property

I loved the Beautiful Ocean West Boutique Hotel it was like sleeping in your own Castle and the room was elegant. The bed was big and comfy made you feel like royalty. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The pool was pretty and fun to enjoy later in the day. The rooms in the hotel were all so unique and historical looking. Dinning room is also so beautiful. The stairway is gorgeous. The free wifi worked well but only on the floor you stayed on. Also nice parking area with gated community. The things I think could be improved is some of the amenities and service for example, when we arrived we had to drag up our own luggage after a long trip without any help up several stairs with no ac in this area. No free breakfast , no free bottle of water they wanted 3 dollar per bottle, no makeup remover wipes and very small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. It did have an a/c in the room, microwave and fridge. The bed was a little sandy from day one and we never went to the beach and the floor in the bathroom was dirty. They could offer more towels. There is not a trash outside anywhere and only one small trash can in the bathroom which made it hard to get rid of trash. I definely recommend this place purely because it's just such a beautiful place to stay. The service desk is very friendly and always there.

They just need to make sure they dust and get under the bed, but otherwise my stay was great!

I love the ambiance and the pool area overlooking the ocean. Glorious sunrises, and brilliant staff. Can't wait to go back.

The property is beautiful no doubt about that, with stunning views since it sits pretty high up ( maybe on one of the highest points) in a residential neighborhood. Therefore it is quite far away by foot from restaurants, shops, beach etc. It only makes sense if you have a rental car. We, unfortunately stayed in a room (Pearl)on the first floor that resembled more a cell than a hotel room with two twin!!!! beds, one chair with a small round table that was too small to put a computer up and anyhow hard to utilize since it was too close to the bed. The bathroom could need some updates. There are two more small rooms on that floor and one bigger one with view to the parking. I did not see the other rooms but make sure you’re not on the first floor! The breakfast was à la carte and the portions were big. I thought for a price tag like that at least the water in the room should be complimentary.

The entire property was beautiful. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

This boutique hotel is very charming, beautiful, and well-kept. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the property itself is lovely. However, the check-in experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, we waited at the gate for a long time with no assistance. One of the entrance gates doesn’t work, and if it hadn’t been for a kind person driving by who stopped to tell us to use the other entrance, we would have had no idea what to do. The hotel never sent any email or instructions explaining that there are two gates but only one is operational. Since we didn’t know the area, it was frustrating to drive all the way around to find the correct entrance. The furniture in the rooms is also quite old and could definitely use an update. Another important thing to know is that the hotel is not beachfront. The beach is not directly in front of the property, so you’ll need a car to get there. Overall, it’s a beautiful boutique hotel with a nice atmosphere, but the communication, arrival process, and room updates need significant improvement.

Amazing place for relaxing

The location, views and serenity are unmatched. The hotel sits on top of a hill overlooking the ocean and its gorgeous colors and a lush green landscape between the hotel and the water. The stay was lovely, a true boutique hotel.
