Extremely friendly staff. We asked for a room change, and the staff made it happen the next day. Buffet breakfast selection was good. The pool was a nice touch for a quick late afternoon dip on the hot summer days. The walk into Sorrento is about 20 mins, but if you don't want to walk, the hotel shuttle in the evenings/nights is a huge bonus, running every 30 mins, it saves a ton of money on cabs. Would stay again!

Very well-maintained property. We stayed in the room right next to the rooftop terrace. Beautiful view. Very helpful staff. They go out of their way to make their guests happy and comfortable. I wish they were closer to the Sorrento city center and the port, because public transportation is sparse. That leaves walking (1.2 miles) or taxis ($20 minimum) before 6 pm. After 6 pm, and until 11 pm, the hotel has a dependable shuttle that picks up and drops off about 5 minutes from the city center. Wonderful Italian restaurant down the street from the hotel (Il Ruttino). EXCELLENT food, very friendly staff, fairly priced.

Really friendly and helpful staff that made the experience 10 times better! The hotel room was lovely too and pool area very nice. Good selection at breakfast and tasty. Shuttle service was a bonus on an evening but the walk into town was only 10-15 mins anyway.
My partner had an allergic reaction to nuts whilst there and the staff dealt with the situation so well and helped us communicate to call an ambulance. A massive thank you to them for being so reassuring and helpful in a bad situation!

Good location, hotel offers a shuttle from 6-11 pm to near Piazza Tasso. That alone saves close to $50 a day in cab fares. Breakfast is good with several choices including scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, sweet breads, yogurt, fruit, and good coffee. Pool is nice, also has sauna and massages. Employees are cheerful and very helpful. Shuttle driver Frank and Mario at the front desk were delightful! Frank even came back to get us after 11 when the shuttle would not accommodate everyone who needed to go back to the hotel.

Great hotel, staff were all so helpful and lovely. The facilities and rooms were nice. Sorrento town was an easy 20 minute walk from the hotel but all fairly flat which was good. Some.lovely bars and restaurants in the area too if you don't fancy the walk into Sorrento

Amazing stay at Hotel La Pergola for 5 nights on our honeymoon. We were upgraded and given a bottle of prosecco for our room which we drank on the balcony, this was personally delivered by staff. We made use of the pool, rooftop terrace and wellness room. The staff could not have been more helpful and I would recommend anyone considering a stay at Hotel La Pergola to book immediately - if only for the lovely staff members, particularly Klarissa, Mario, Antonio and Simona. We were also recommended Cafe Latino by staff and given 2 free drink passes - this restaurant was our favourite in all of Italy and we went three times in 6 days. Looking forward to returning!

Quiet, charming, hotel. Very comfortable. Staff was fantastic and very accommodating. Bathrooms a little small but still manageable.
