Great location and service, with a few areas for improvement- We had a very nice stay at Hotel Villa Ganz. The location is excellent — close to many attractions and easy to get around either on foot or with a short Uber ride. The staff were outstanding: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The property itself is charming, with beautiful grounds and a lovely garden restaurant. Dining in the courtyard was a highlight, and the food was very good. There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. The bathroom felt a bit outdated and not quite in line with expectations for a five-star boutique property. While the room was comfortable overall, a mini fridge would have been especially helpful given the warm weather. An in-room iron or steamer would also be a convenient addition for quick touch-ups, even though laundry service is available. Overall, this is a warm, well-located boutique hotel with excellent service. With a few updates and added amenities, it would be even better.

Beautiful Hotel with exemplary service. As good or better than anywhere I’ve ever stayed. Short walk to many restaurants and bars as well. Armando, our host is first rate! The restaurant was also fabulous! Can’t say enough about this property! Muchas gracias a todos!

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The staff were phenomenal, the rooms and premises were clean and tranquil, the location perfect for walking to food, coffee, bars, snacks etc. You won’t be disappointed.

Staff, ambiance, courtyard, gorgeous villa and a great stay!

Villa Ganz joins a select handful of remarkable stays—a guesthouse in Entebbe, a ryokan in Kyoto, a bed and breakfast in Quindío—that become part of the journey itself. The understated elegant intimacy of Villa Ganz, nurtured by Yvonne, Leo, Carlos, Rocío, Luis, Ana Carolina, and Marcos, helped make our four days in Guadalajara unforgettable. Our impeccably maintained room—with its comfortable bed and crisp, fine linens—was perfect for recharging before heading a few feet to the dining room for a leisurely breakfast, featuring perhaps the best eggs Benedict we’ve ever tasted. And though that’s saying a lot, Luis’s burrata, asparagus, and short ribs one evening deserve equal praise. Throughout our stay, the front desk team was consistently gracious, responsive, and generous with their local recommendations. If I were to list reasons to return to Guadalajara, Villa Ganz would be right at the top. Viva VG!

Full service hotel with exceptionally clean grounds and rooms. Very nice atmosphere, quiet…..yet local to food, music, art and exploring. High recommendation. The staff are bilingual and extremely professional. Couldn’t ask for more.

All areas of the property are beautiful--the food and drinks delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.
