While the rooms in this boutique hotel are small...there is a level of luxury about them that makes it a suitable stay. prior research is useful so no visitors are shocked!

...all service with a smile.
Location is great...a few minutes walk from Tajong Nagar MRT on the green EW line...so easy to get to from the airport.
Toiletries are nice in the shower.
Breakfast is a served situation of one item from each category...seems limited...but it works and is enough.
Overall...for the price and location...great base.
This is the second time I've stayed here so that says something I guess!

this is a colonial style hotel beautifully laid out ,some chairs are representative of ol British and Indian army uniforms ,intimate dinning , I cant praise the staff highly enough nothing was to much trouble would highly recommend this hotel will definitely stay there again .

Really feel that at time of booking it should be made clear to customers that the hotel is right next to a literal construction site - it looks like a multi story carpark or something - it is but a few metres from the hotels front door.

The hotel is historic with interesting decor. it is conveniently located in Chinatown, near bars, restaurants and the subway station. Unfortunately, there is construction of a large building going on nearby. The hotel room was also nicely decorated, although it was small. Not big enough for a couple with two big suitcases. The sliding bathroom doors didn't close complete; one can guess what the consequences are. The floor in the bathroom. and shower was not clean. Breakfast was not bad.
