A really lovely property; clean and modern, excellent bathroom and kitchen facilities, comfortable bed. Overall a well designed and comfortable space in which to relax.

The hotel is centrally located and close to tourist areas. The room (Daydream) is clean and equipped with a kitchenet which is very convenient. The cleaning crew clearly did a good job on the day we arrived (May 17th, 2026), and they were very helpful during our check in process. However, we noticed that the host was completely absent despite our repeated requests for information related to our stay. Since we would be at the facility 2 hours earlier before the check-in time of 4 pm and would like to store our carry on luggage temporarily, I contacted the host repeatedly by e-mails and message, asking how to gain access to the building. For some reason, the owner has never replied my enquiries until this day (June 3rd). At first, I thought that the host could be away on vacation but later realized that it may not be the case as the cleaning crew was not aware the owner was on vacation. I also noticed some other issues. For example, there was a quite strong night light (safety light?), very close to the sleeping bed. Unless you are a teen age, it is almost impossible to fall into sleep with such a light next to your head. I can see some previous guests' efforts to duck tape the light, but the light is very high and it is dangerously unsafe to do this job. There were also some lights not working in the kitchenet area. The carpet in the sitting area is too soft and could be a tripping hazard. The outside gate door open switch is not easy to find and needs clear signage.

The hotel offers a lovely atmosphere and beautiful design with good amenities. The shower and kitchen appliances worked well, and the host was friendly and helpful via messages despite occasional slow replies. Minor issues included internal doors rubbing the floor, a broken trash bin lid, a slightly loose toilet causing noise, and morning noise in the Daydream room near the entrance and stairs, though none ruined my stay. I hope to stay there again.

Nice place! 15 minute walk into Ghent City Centre, where comparable properties will cost 50% more Local amenities looked good, but we walked into the city centre both days and evenings of our 2 night stay

Marvellous property. Room was huge and had everything you need in a convenient location.

The Daydreamer was well located, and very attractive, with trompe l’oeil fragments on the ceiling. Everything was well appointed, and the shower gel smells wonderful. The staff was responsive and helpful.

I was prepared to provide The Hide the highest possible rating when we arrived. The location and space are perfect. Unfortunately, the communication was very bad. I had planned to use the dryer, but when trying to communicate about it not working with the staff, I did not hear back after multiple attempts.

Fantastic apartment in an excellent location. Really clean and comfortable with all amenities you could hope for. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area.

We stayed in the Suds & Soda apartment. Perfect for the 2 of us and the dog for 2 nights. Fantastic location with wonderful cafes, restaurants and bars all on the doorstep plus it's a really easy walk into Ghent centre.

All perfect, just a little bit loud early in the morning, we are aware it was because of some constructions around, overall the place it’s really nice, and the staff very efficient when trying to solve an issue with the booked room, they upgraded us to another one of their rooms, which we appreciate very much.
