Excellent hotel , 10-15 min walk from main streets and sightseeing areas . Lobby was gorgeous, staff surer helpful.

Great location. Very nice hotel.

I really liked this hotel- it’s an oasis in the middle of the city. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet was above average. The hotel itself has a very calm, spa-like vibe. I particularly liked the location. You’re within walking distance of a number of the shrines and temples, you’re right next to the Gion neighborhood, or you can walk across the river to a big restaurant and shopping district. But you’re not right in those areas, so the hotel and immediate neighborhood feel calm and quiet. You’re also a block or two from multiple train lines.

The hotel was beautiful. Very clean, well kept, and located very conveniently 2 minutes from a subway station. The staff was very helpful. We liked it so much that we cancelled another hotel we had and extended our stay by an additional night.

An excellent property tucked away on a quiet street and very accessible to the main shopping and dining area. Hotel facilities are excellent.
