Generally a great play to stay. Everything was clean and worked well, and the location is perfect. I was surprised how quiet it was given that it's on a busy street but had no problem sleeping. I did have a bit of trouble with the wifi staying connected and steady while watching a movie, but otherwise no issues.

Location is good as it is only a couple blocks off from Government Street and to the main harbor. Clean, quiet. However very small lobby and the single queen room was extremely small. It was clean however barely fit the queen bed with little room on either side and little room at the foot. If you are looking for a bed to sleep in and do not intend on spending anytime in the room, this hotel is for you or upgrade to a larger room.

The check-in/out process was quick and easy. All of the staff were great. The room was updated and clean. The bed was comfortable. The restaurants and pubs attached to the hotel had great drinks and food. My only complaint would be the noise from the club on the weekends but I knew that when I booked so not really a complaint from me but something people should be aware of. I would definitely stay at the Strathcona on our next visit.

Location is amazing no doubt. But its an old building so you can expect elevator issues and slow response at the reception. Did not expect much hospitality and did not receive it either :) So all good

Good bang for your buck with a central location. That's great for travellers coming in off the Harbour Air seaplanes. Tonnes of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
