Great location on the promenade. You can walk to pubs, restaurants, and music in Salt Hill. And it's a short cab ride to all the sites in Galway.

Salthill Hotel is in a great location, lovely beach views and easy access to stroll on the promenade.
The breakfast was good. I don't know what they were passing off as a chicken caesar salad but it was horrible. Whatever it was, it wasn't caesar but doused in it. Pizza was good enough.
Music in the bar on saturday night was entertaining. Not trad but a good mix of classics and country.
The rooms felt a little dated. Bed was comfy. Shower pressure good.

We had a wonderful one night stay at this hotel. The hotel is quite well located, a close drive to the heart of Galway, and right on the boardwalk. The rooms were clean, quiet and well appointed. We enjoyed a very nice dinner in The Prom restaurant and a wonderful buffet breakfast the next morning in the hotel's breakfast room. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in this lovely part of the world.

Had amazing time in this beautiful hotel, in salthill, first thing you notice is the ambience of the place ,the receptionist,friendly and helpful .the room was perfect, very clean and comfortable bed and pillows, view of the sea was stunning. Breakfast was very good, great variety. Luch and dinner was served beautifully and staff very friendly and accommodating.
It's mour second stay in this beautiful hotel and even better second time around ,highly recommend this hotel
