We arrived in Carcassonne on a beautiful sunny day, the hotel is beautiful, and perfectly located just a very short walk from the city walls. We checked in and Stefan was wonderful, we had issues with our car, he rang a local garage and even got us booked in. Our room was stunning with extremely comfortable bed - we had a room with the hot tub, which was perfect temperature, we ended up staying an extra night while the car was being fixed, which gave us the opportunity to explore the old town further, there is an excellent selection of restaurants and tapas available. There is also a secure car park at the rear of the hotel We would highly recommend Pont Levis Hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful and we felt truly welcome and Stefan was so kind and really made our stay awesome. Everyone speaks good English which was helpful as our French isn’t great! If you need a garage we recommend ets Baruteau in Carcassonne

Muy recomendable! Al lado de la Cite, puedes volver a la hora de más calor, disfrutar la piscina y luego regresar a la fortaleza.

Exceptionally helpful staff. Junior suite was spacious and comfortable. Location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the fortified city.

Everything was great. Really near the gate to the old town and lovely staff. Wish that they could put a phone or plug socket near the bed. Other than that minor irritation, we enjoyed our stay. The terrace was a lovely place to relax in the sun.

Spotless

Great location within 3 minute walk of the city entrance and also great views if you walk up the hill in the garden. Receptionist was very friendly & helpful. We arrived early expecting to just leave our bags however it was a nice touch for them to let us in the room early. Great private secure parking inside the grounds for €15 per night and able to come and go as you please. Rooms adequate for a night. Strange layout (standard room) with the WC on one side of the room and the wash basin on the other, bit inconvenient to wash your hands after using the WC, especially in the middle of the night, if you turn on the light you wake partner or trip over as you can't see where your are going if you don't. Pillows were synthetic lumpy & uncomfortable could do with replacing. Toiletries were minimal 2 in 1 one body hair shampoo & hand wash that's it. All in all an pleasant stay but small things could improve it such as the pillows.

Great location next to the fortress, excellent friendly staff, nice sized comfortable room and bed. Only complaint is there was not even a drawer to unpack any of your luggage. We are literally living out of our suitcases as there was nowhere to put stuff. Other than that we still highly recommend.

Very comfortable beds, great location and very close to restaurants and sights.

A fabulous position close to the Old city. It’s very modern. The rooms are small and quite dark inside. They have comfy bedding and we had a very large fabulous walk in shower with a nice patio and chairs to sit out in. No atmosphere or lounge as such to have a drink and relax other than your room. I would say a place to stay one or two nights only. We stayed four nights which was too long. However Carcassone is stunning and there is easy access via train to several places.

This was a wonderful spot. Steps…..literally across the street……from the main gate into the old city. Everyone was helpful…..parking is easy…..loved it.
