Resort fee is not included and breakfast is not included either. Rooms were clean and new

They charge resort fee while check out. I prepaid the rooms when booking it online. I found they charge CA$95 when check out at the property.

Smelly rooms with no ventilation unless you leave window open

The location is convenient to Lake Louise, Morraine Lake and the Icefield Parkway. But the village of Lake Louise has limited amenities—especially compared to Banff. The swimming pool, gym and the restaurant fine. But the room was dated—stained flooring, chipped tub, filthy exhaust fan, clunky lamps, non-working plugs. The motel-like buildings were a pain to walk between in the rain. For this price, I expected more modern accommodations.

It’s a charming lodge experience. The location was perfect for Lake Louise and Moraine Lake shuttles access. The staff were exceptional. During check-in (Abby?) worked to find the answer to my question and resolved it. She also booked my shuttle transportation for the next day and planed the timing for each shuttle perfectly. She’s an exceptional hospitality professional. The restaurant was very good. I ate all meals here (2 breakfast and 2 dinners). The food was flavorful and fresh. The only challenge was timing meals around the large tour bus groups staying at the lodge. The lodge is about 3 stars - it’s an older lodge showing some wear and aging. Each day I saw the dedicated maintenance staff taking care of the property - landscaping and physical structures, painting, etc. The room was dark and stuffy. To lower its carbon footprint and reduce overall energy consumption, the inn does not have AC in guest rooms and provides a fan. I noted several guests would leave their door open to help with natural lighting and fresh air flow.

You have to re-set your expectations when you stay at the property since for about $400 a night with the resort fees tacked in, you may not be getting an experience that you could have in mind. Yes the property is in a nice location, in a very touristy spot with great views and is a rustic property (if you like that kind of stuff), but the rooms are tiny and the walls are super thin and there is no elevator. If you are not in any of their most costlier rooms , there is not even a refrigerator, which you don't realize how much you need once you come from outside and you find the room feels so stuffy since there is no AC. In order to get some air into the room, since the rooms are motel style with the doors and windows are facing the walkway outside, you have to keep all of that open so say good bye to privacy or even moments of solitude or a good nights sleep with noises from outside when staff starts their clean up. The Lake Louise village closes at 6PM so there is nothing to do around here in the evening so there are very limited dinner or entertainment options unless you do it in the property or adjoining property. There are plenty of ground squirrels in the property who are funny and can be your source of entertainment especially for children. We did not use the pools or the hot tubs while there for 2 nights so can't comment on those. The adjoining properties which are right on the creek have much more "in the nature" feel compared to this Inn/motel.

The inn was in a great location be, not too far from Lake Louise. It was well maintained, quiet, and it was nice having different dining options in the property. I would definitely recommend!
