A great family motel, with lovely pool and right on the lake. Not fancy, but great for family get aways. Has everything you need.

First time that we have stayed at the Oasis. Have stayed at other motels in Taupo but having stayed at the Oasis we will be making them our stay of choice in the future.

Great basic hotel. Perfect for a quick family getaway

We loved the pool. Nice warm daily swim with pool towels in box beside pool. An extra plug for toaster/jug would be good. Only 2 towels supplied for 3 of us. The large glass panel above curtains in lounge and bedroom let a lot of light in and warmth out which made it hard to heat. A curtain there would be great. Also longer curtains in small bedroom as cool air comes through on face when sleeping. Tennis courts also a bonus. No reception as being renovated but had all we needed through millennium.

The room was very tidy and clean, equiped with everything you need. My friend insisted to wash again all the dishes, but she is just a clean freak I guess. I couldn't find an ice tray in the fridge, but we got unlimited supply of ice from the hotel bar next door. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. There is an outdoor pool with nice worm water. The visitors are also welcome to use the gym, sauna and the pool in the nieghbouring Millenium hotel. Overall I had a wonderful time and rest. Highly recommend the hotel. The best rooms are with the lake view:-)

The room itself was out dated. I don’t mind. The room was dirty. Spider webs on the ceilings, sticky mess on the floor at the fridge, hair and food debris inside the kitchen drawers, cups and plates still had hard pieces of food on it. Floor in bathroom had hair and debris, toilet had stains. We hooked this motel to use the facilities which we ended up never using as the outside spa pool is freazing and the covered spa pool is locked. To get a key from the neighboring hotel you have to walk through your room to their desk and back the same way because reception at the Oasis is not minded it’s locked and all exit gates are locked. It’s terrible do not stay here

Nice to have a door heading out to the pool. A tidy, warm room. Great price.

Beautiful view, nice to have a house all to yourself away from the motel but close enough to walk over if you wanted to use heated pool or go to restaurant
