Loved the atmosphere of this downtown hotel. Great action! Great place!

3/5 Stars The Hoxton Amsterdam is a charming heritage hotel in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the old city and within easy walking distance of many of Amsterdam’s attractions. As expected with a historic building, there are some compromises. We experienced ventilation and electrical issues in our original room, although the staff were helpful and promptly arranged for us to move. Our “Cosy” room was clean and comfortable, but quite compact, making it a little difficult to move around with luggage. The hotel offers a complimentary minibar, although ours contained only bottled water. There are also many stairs throughout the property, and adding a few ramps would greatly improve access for guests with heavy luggage or mobility challenges. Check-in could also be more welcoming. The process felt focused on collecting credit card details rather than orientating guests to the hotel and its facilities. Overall, The Hoxton offers character and an excellent central location, but given the premium room rates, I’d recommend comparing your options before booking.

Me and the wife had a great stay there. Perfect part of town. It’s located in a quieter location on a canal but is just a short walk to everything. The hotel itself is very quaint with a few modern touches. Would stay there again.

excelent location. steps away from china town, tram to museums, tram to central station, shpping street, restaurants and cool hangout places. room is very small, but who want to stay in their room? its amsterdam!!

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. The room that we had was well appointed and we particularly loved the bathroom and comfortable bed. Although we did not use the restaurant on site, it looked warm and inviting. However, I will say that the menu needed a few more vegan options to get us interested versus other places nearby. Small notes: ~ the bathroom needed a toilet brush ~ the steps coming in will be an issue for some with heavy cases/children etc ~ the bedroom could do with a recycle bin Finally, we absolutely loved walking the city. The ONLY thing I will say is that the City itself needs to address is the trash and cigarette butt situation as it is out of control! Much love and thank you! Grant

Super hôtel, par contre notre chambre au 5e étage dans la section ou le plafond est hyper bas. Mon conjoint frôlait le plafond et était trop grand pour la douche. Il devait se pencher pour pouvoir être sous le pommeau de douche. Nous n’avions pas eu cette information en réservant ni en nous enregistrant. Ça aurait été apprécié.

Caution…poor air conditioning and non-working TV. Staff was not helpful at all.

Very nice boutique hotel in a great location. Cool lobby bar and restaurant and good vibe. Room was clean, well appointed and with stylish decor.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend the Hoxton Amsterdam to anyone looking for a really beautiful place to stay in the 9 streets.
