We love staying at Cheeca Lodge. We have stayed here several times. We have a residence in Islamorada and we often enjoy Atlantic's Edge Restaurant. Wonderful ocean front atmosphere for dining.

There was a lot of seaweed, which definitely had an odor; it was impossible to use the beach area. I did expect they would make more of an effort to clean it. Could use some TCL, adult pool needs new steps that do not get too hot to touch in the summertime. (They make them now). Could have made more of an effort to review amenities and events. The hotel channel was not available. You learn more from talking to the guests at the pool. Nevertheless, you're in the Florida Keys, taking in the vibe! The staff and service in the bar and restaurant were good. Very family-oriented.
