Nuestra estadía en Hotel El Secreto fue excelente. La ubicación es inmejorable, ya que está a pocos pasos del centro de La Fortuna, lo que nos permitió recorrer el pueblo caminando y disfrutar de sus restaurantes, tiendas y ambiente. El desayuno estuvo delicioso para comenzar el día. Lo que más nos gustó fue la atención del personal: desde el primer momento nos hicieron sentir como en casa, siempre amables, atentos y dispuestos a ayudar. Además, la ubicación es muy conveniente porque los operadores turísticos pasan a recogerte directamente al hotel para los diferentes tours, haciendo todo mucho más fácil y cómodo. Sin duda, volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí y lo recomendamos a cualquiera que visite La Fortuna.

Lovely hotel. Walkable to everything in town. We even saw sloths in the trees in the hotel car park.

When you first see where the hotel is located, you aren’t expecting too much but once you are inside it, it is lovely. A little oasis within walking distance of the town and all restaurants and shops. People had been saying it had been cloudy all week but when we got there, within an hour we could see the volcano, and in a tree beside the property, two sloths. The morning breakfast was good as well but I think they might have been using the same knife to chop onions as papaya. Overall, a reasonably priced place to stay that is quite clean and has a lovely courtyard.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in a great location within very easy walk to to shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel setting was great we saw so much wildlife from our veranda!

We liked listening to the frogs behind the hotel all night and seeing the sloths that live in the parking lot trees. The pool deck and chairs felt a little dated. No free tea and coffee station in the lobby which we loved from our last hotel. Overall it was good and on the edge of a busy town but close enough to make walking to food easy.
