A lovely hotel tucked away behind the Royal Mile. I was advised upon arrival that my room had been upgraded, which was a lovely gesture. Room was modern, clean and very large with a huge bathroom. Whilst they don't offer breakfast, a 15% discount voucher for the Cafe downstairs is provided and a connecting door direct to the Cafe. Food was delicious. Lots of restaurants and cafes are located in the same street.

Enjoyed a great overnight stay at The Inn Place last weekend. The location was brilliant - a short walk from the train station and perfect for accessing the castle where we were watching a concert that night. The hotel itself was clean, well maintained and very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d absolutely recommend The Inn Place and will definitely stay there again when I next return to Edinburgh

The hotel was great, perfect location, and spacious rooms. Really the location is amazing and the people that work there were super polite and helpful. The price was golden to compared to the rest of the area.

Great location and spacious room with amazing bathroom. It was so nice to have a tub and separate shower. Loved the skylight! The staff were so helpful and friendly. I would stay here again. This was my 4th stay in Edinburgh and by far the best accommodation I’ve had so far.

Liked room other than we had the handicapped bathroom which was huge but rather useless. Water travels everywhere.

Very central for tourist attractions. Clean and comfortable.

Definitely a challenge if you're traveling with more than a carry-on piece of luggage but we made it work. The staff was super helpful and gave us early check-in to drop our luggage. Bus service right outside made getting around super convenient.

Wonderful staff in a great location. Heart of Old Town. The kitchen below the hotel that is somewhat associated had issues and was not available. Hopefully that is a short problem. Turret room was nice but there are a few of them and not all overlook the city like pictures would have you believe.

Great place to stay when visiting Edinburgh, they don’t have a bar

Loved my stay. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the staff were all so kind.
