Great location and well-kept premises. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Great location in the heart of Avalon. Walking distance to everything. Very accommodating with keeping luggage and allowing use of amenities before and after checkout to accommodate ferry arrival and departures.

Wonderful stay, no issues at all.

Location!!! This is the perfect place to stay, right in Avalon, walking distance from everything! It is also a cute, renovated building. Our room was small, but had everything we needed. The front desk staff were helpful and offered discounts for certain activities in Catalina if you book through them. The games and tables to play them were a nice addition. They would keep your bags for you, if needed, very conveniently, but they also allowed us to check in early, which was a nice surprise. They had beach towels and chairs available for use, too, free as long as you return them! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Lobby was clean , rooms were small but nice

The hotel was clean, and nicely decorated. It had a "casa blanca" feel. We felt very peaceful and enjoyed out visit very much. The staff was very courteous and professional. The standard rooms are on the small side but very nice, comfy and modern. Complimentary champagne in the fridge is a nice perk. On our last day they stored our bags all day, and the front desk even recharged my cellphone. When we arrived I mentioned that I prepaid for a tour and they applied a hotel discount to our tour. Overall, a very memorable and enjoyable stay,

It's a beautiful hotel with lovely decor. Very convenient location. The rooms have excellent air conditioning.

Had high-hopes for this visit. Very thankful that we were able to check-in early. Room thermostat didn’t seem to be working properly; room was 55 degrees and wouldn’t get warmer. Alerted staff 2x of this and was told that they would have someone check it out. Went out to dinner and when returned asked if anyone had checked it out; no one had done so and this was about 3 hours after letting them first know. Asked to be switched to a new room. Was told it would be $10 upgrade fee or something like that. We had to ask that this be waived, which it was. Seemed like a lot of work on our end to get a room switched due to a mechanical mishap with the thermostat. Didn’t receive any kind of apology or follow-up. Shouldn’t have had to ask for a room switch and should have be done automatically. If you say someone will check out the room then you should make sure this happens in a timely manner so the guest doesn’t have to follow-up 3x about it

We loved the accessibility to location. But would have them update their text response time.

We didn't figure out how the air conditioning worked, a small room, but it was only a one night stay and we heard plumbing and loud noises from neighbors and vise a versa l am sure. It's a beautiful older hotel, centrally located!
