I love the atmosphere and how it was once the tallest hotel in America and just the history of it as a beautiful place to stay the food and everything customer service was excellent

그저 그래요 Property and the rooms are architecturally impressive and well maintained. Front desk staff with one exception were very unprofessional. We arrived after 11 pm and were told to sit in reception for 1/2 hour due to a “software glitch”- in reality (this was later admitted) the hotel was overbooked. Rather than admitting this the staff at that time put us in a 78 degree room where the AC did not and apparently could not work. We were offered a room with only one bed or fans in the room (by this time we had also been told that the AC was being fixed, a technician would come (no one came), and that the temp would drop. Over 10 hours it dropped 2 degrees. We were moved to another room the next night and told that they would look into a refund (no commitment of any actual refund). When I happened upon another manager who asked how my stay was and I mentioned all this, we got a retaliatory call from the person who offered to contact Expedia for a refund relating that we had contacted her boss and maybe she wouldn’t ask for the refund. A mess.

Classic hotel. Beautifully renovated. Outstanding rooms. Very good location near North High Street. Very good restaurant on site. Fantastic team. However they need to improve their service upon arrival and departure.
