I enjoyed a fantastic massage in the basement Spa, and would thoroughly recommend this as a luxurious, city centre hotel. The staff were wonderful and made us feel very relaxed. I'd love to go back.

Coffee machine in room was lovely. Gym while hot was adequate. Spa, despite small charge was really lovely. Breakfast was overall good value at about 20 quid a head. Location was decent, right in the heart of Bristol.

I bought a stay for my daughter’s birthday and she said that she had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and the staff were wonderful. I emailed the team advising them it was my daughter’s birthday and they went the extra mile, she had a room upgrade and was also greeted with a birthday cake and a box of chocolates. She was so surprised and delighted. She was so impressed we booked a stay too.

Room had windows that open on to a brick wall. No view, room dark. Shower worked well and bed was large and comfortable. Bit of a shame the windows let the room down. The air conditioning made a loud noise that made it had to relax. Bit of a disappointment.

They need to get their carpets, sofa and cleaning routine in order. Blood and other stains on the carpets in the corridor and bedroom is not on.
