An old and tired resort. Great concept. Just old and starting to be rundown. For us it was just a base to allow us access to the Canmore and Banff region. The loft part of the room gave our daughter some privacy.

There was a leakage from the bathroom. Whenever we did take shower, water was leaking and went to ground floor’s bedroom. Since we just stayed one night and checked in at night and out in the morning. We really did not want to call stuff at night. I just informed the receptionist when I checked out.

Enjoyed our stay at Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge. Room was very clean and comfortable. The overall property could use a little updating and maintenance done. Some of the posts on the stair were rotted out and needed replacement. But overall, still a good stay and good location.

Don't be fooled by the fancy pictures. The property is nearly 100 years old and offers virtually no amenities. The parking situation was terrible—it's difficult to find a spot, and even if you do, the spaces are so tight that you can barely open your car door to get out. The room was another major disappointment. The entire loft relied on a single window air conditioner, which was completely inadequate. The bedroom located underneath the loft was unbearably hot because there was no air vent, ceiling fan, exhaust fan, or separate air conditioning in the room. It was extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, this will be my last reservation through Hotels.com. When I contacted their customer service for assistance, they refused to help resolve the issue. The support I received was extremely disappointing and unhelpful, leaving me with the impression that customer satisfaction is not a priority. Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. Between the outdated property, lack of amenities, poor parking, uncomfortable room conditions, and the lack of support from Hotels.com, I cannot recommend either this hotel or booking through Hotels.com.

Property was dated if you compare it to all the newer architecture in the area. Parking was a bit difficult but it was very busy while we were there. Staff and daily service was excellent. We felt it was good value for the cost comparatively.

This was a very good value with all of the essentials. Location was convenient -- walkable to groceries and restaurants. Easy access to freeway and national parks. The kitchen was a nice amenity -- small but had all the basics.
