Had a very enjoyable brief stay in the Hotel King David. Bedroom was spacious and clean. Bathroom/WC clean and walk in shower very comfortable. Food very good and plentiful. Staff helpful. Only point is that the Hotel has only small lobby. Otherwise would definitely visit again

Very comfortable for Shabbat observant travelers

First off, this os a Kosher hotel, so mind your manners and dont bring your own food around the common areas. The staff were wonderful, the room was spotless and generously sized for europe. The location is absolutely prime. 5 minutes from the old town, and 5 minute walk to the main train station. If you do plan on walking from the train station, lost of cobblestone and other uneven surfaces. Dont be like Dave and break a wheel off your bag.

Terrible expérience

Séjour catastrophique l’un des pires hôtels que nous ayons faits. Le problème principal est le personnel, extrêmement antipathique et désagréable. En particulier une certaine madame Zenia.S, qui parle aux clients de manière très irrespectueuse et donne clairement l’impression que les clients la dérangent. Pour un hôtel qui se veut de standing, c’est totalement inacceptable. Le service est inexistant. J’avais demandé deux oreillers supplémentaires car le lit et les oreillers sont vraiment inconfortables. Le personnel m’a assuré qu’ils allaient les monter dans la chambre… mais ils ne sont jamais arrivés. Aucune excuse, aucun suivi. Le restaurant est également très décevant. Il est affiché ouvert jusqu’à 23h, mais à partir de 21h30 ils refusent déjà les commandes, ce qui est totalement trompeur pour les clients. Et les prix sont scandaleux : 80 € par personne pour un repas qui ne vaut absolument pas ce prix. Si vous voulez manger là-bas, passez par Hotel.com / Expedia car sur place c’est clairement de l’abus. Le spa est ridiculement petit et les horaires sont très limités. Encore une fois, très loin de ce qu’on peut attendre d’un hôtel de ce type. Enfin, l’emplacement de l’hôtel n’est pas idéal, ce qui n’aide pas à sauver l’expérience. Nous étions venus en couple pour passer un moment agréable, et au final ce séjour a été une vraie déception du début à la fin. Entre le personnel désagréable, le service inexistant et les prix injustifiés, tout est à revoir. Je ne recommande pas!

The room was perfect, upgraded from the standard room as that is way too small and has a sloped attic ceiling. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The food was delicious.

it was a very pleasant stay from every angle you can look at. wonderful experience will come again!

What a luxury to have a hotel like this and be able to explore a European city. Staff was very accommodating and courteous. Food was varied and plentiful . It was a great value using my Expedia points as well to get half board for $250 a night during Holiday time.
