Beautiful historic property in an amazing location to explore Stockholm. Right near a subway station so very easy to get everywhere Breakfast was world class. Staff kind and accommodating. Highly recommend this property

We loved it here. Great location and atmosphere. Staff were so helpful and positive.

Only issue was construction

Hotel Frantz is a lovely old hotel. Its location is perfect for sightseeing. It is central to everything. The metro, Gamla Stan and of course to all the fabulous places on Södermalm. The staff are beyond amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them from the moment you check in to the moment you leave. The breakfast is the best! The choice of different foods is enormous and the quality is excellent. Whilst our room was very clean it was also very very small. There was no wardrobe and no where to put the suitcases. There were no robes and no tissues provided. That being said the bed was very comfortable.

J’ai adoré le vieux bâtiment historique, le service et le luxe des hôtels boutiques. Déjeuner exceptionnel. Personnel très, très gentil.

Great location and wonderful staff. Construction on a new elevator is happening so if you want to sleep past 9 it will be noisy. Wasn’t issue for us as we were on the go early each day.

It was a great hotel in a great location. The hotel has the best receptionists! Super kind and helpful. The room was clean and has a big comfortable bed.

Very cosy hotel, great breakfast. Rooms are a bit too small, but that was fine. If they had some kettle / tea facility in the room, that would have been nice. Otherwise, great spot in a great location, walking distance to all you may need.

If you are looking for a hotel that feels less like a sterile chain and more like a curated home, Hotel Frantz is the place to be. I recently spent five nights here on a solo trip, and it was worth every penny. For a solo female traveler, this hotel wasn't just a place to sleep; it was a true safe haven. The aesthetic is a beautiful blend of antique charm with a modern flare, feeling historic and storied yet perfectly updated for a modern traveler’s needs. My room was a highlight, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed and the ability to fully control the air and heat, which made for a perfect retreat at the end of the day. The service I received was genuinely exceptional and made me feel incredibly well-supported. The staff was kind enough to grant me an early check-in, which was a lifesaver after a long journey. Throughout my stay, they were proactive and helpful, whether they were hunting down a phone charger for me or being accommodating with room service requests. They even went the extra mile on Valentine’s Day by calling around to different restaurants to secure me a last-minute reservation. That level of personal care is rare and made a huge difference in my experience. Beyond the service, the atmosphere of the hotel is delightful. The bar area is cozy and inviting, and the dining areas always feature great music that sets a wonderful mood. Breakfast offered many high-quality options, ensuring I started every morning right. Additionally, the location is unbeatable.

Exceptional!
