The staff at Magnums are lovely and very welcoming. My room was great for a quick 1 night stay and centrally located in Airlie, close to the restaurants, cafes and the supermarket, which is super handy.

Great location with friendly staff. Room served its purpose for my 3 day bender..fridge fit a 30 block carton in no dramas Room smelt a bit musky upon arrival and the pillows were rock hard for my hungover head but all in all was a great stay 👌

Great & convenient top spot

Thought I would do something different and stay at a backpackers - I am always staying in hotels and feel so disconnected from people . Was worried that I am so much older - but was good to see the age range was from 20’s to 60+ . It really is a fun place - yes it’s a little like camping to me - I stay d in private room - great price . Kitchen fully loaded with every appliance and kitchen gear . I’ll be back

If you’re looking to stay in an expensive wooden box with outdoor showers/bathroom, surrounded by loud 20yr old backpackers that is also next to the loudest bar on the street, this is the place for you.

Cool property with great surroundings. Excellent location and amenities. The bed and pillows are too firm for me.

Fabulous spot in the heart of Airlie. Once into the accommodation area of Magnums it was a bit like being in a rainforest.

Excellent location - so close to everything! Loved the tropical jungle surroundings - it made it seem like I wasn’t in a tourist town once I was on the Magnums property. I definitely recommend this place to other travellers!

For a budget stay, this was a great hostel. We booked a cabin which had its own ensuite. Feels like you are staying in a rainforest, the trees and outside area are lovely. Great location on Airlie beach and the staff were incredible! It was perfect for a 4 night stay. Would stay here again!
