This hotel was very nice. It was in a safe and convenient location surrounded by shops and restaurants and 1 short block from the 28th St subway stop with a straight shot uptown to Times Square, the theatre district, MoMA, and Central Park, or downtown to SoHo or to the Staten Island Ferry (which is free and makes a pass by the Statue of Liberty with a perfect view for photos). There is free street parking on the adjacent street available early in the day (weekends ONLY - need to move by 8am Monday or risk a ticket) — we noticed many spots available at 10am, but when we walked through at 3pm all were full. Upon arrival, the staff was super friendly and helpful. We checked in and the room was enormous in NYC standards (had 2 kings+sofabed) and very clean and comfortable. The hotel provides a Nespresso coffee machine (which was actually tasty!), water, gourmet chips for snacking, and had a mini-fridge. The bathroom was clean and very large, but did not lock. Def not a dealbreaker, but on my next trip with a family of 4, I would bring a doorstop! I highly recommend this hotel. We had a delightful stay.

Wonderful hotel in a fun convenient area with great access to metro station and restaurants. Everything was in perfect condition including AC, shower, refrigerator , TV and sparkling clean with a beautiful decor. Beds and sheets felt luxurious and fantastic front desk and house cleaning staff. No hotel in NYC is better

Great hotel in amazing location! Our only complaint was that the pull out bed on the couch that our son slept in was extremely uncomfortable which is unfortunate - pull out beds have come a long way and there are now comfortable options which Broadway Plaza Hotel should consider investing in, especially since they charge a surcharge for extra persons. Other than that, we loved our stay!

In many ways our favorite mid-range hotel in NYC. Spacious-feeling, an actual view (a really nice one this time, in fact), room feels new and clean, nice and cool during a heat wave but with a strong hot shower. In-room fridge and coffee maker (though I wish it were a Keurig and not these infernal Nespresso things). Slow-ish elevators are the only drag. Overall, would absolutely stay again.

The location of the hotel was perfect for Our needs. It was close to the R and W trains which were what we needed for our stay. There were several restaurants near by. The room was perfect as we had four adults and two toddlers. We were able to use the sitting area as the ‘bedroom’ for the kids without the pak n plays taking up the entire room. The beds were great. The pillows were a bit soft but that is a personal preference issue. The parking lot the hotel had a partnership with is super convenient. Overall a great stay and would stay again!!

Great stuff. Friendly and helpful. Tremendous location. Foodie central. Subway right there - 28th street yellow line. King room was well laid out and functional. Will stay again.
