My daughter woke up with bites each morning, most likely bed bugs. We did enjoy the cafe and bar. The hours for the Crystal View Lounge were disappointing.

This is such a reliable place to stay in the Los Angeles area that is just a tad outside the downtown and busier corridors. But if you're doing a day of sightseeing, you can leave this hotel early and beat the heavier Los Angeles area traffic. It's quiet, the parking garage is well lit, has security and is right next to the hotel. Advice, pay for the parking at the hotel. The bar is nice and quiet, the bar menu is simple and professional. I personally have not had their food, but it does look quite good from what I saw. Their are too many food options within walking distance of the Hotel Burbank, I recommend many, (except Wokcano), so you have a lot of good eats to choose from. I have stayed at the Hotel Burbank many times in the last 6 years and haven't had any negative experiences. It is a busy hotel with a lot of tourists, so if that's not your vibe, there are also a lot of options out there in LA. But for me, I always know it will be quieter at night at the Hotel Burbank than it would be in the downtown and Hollywood areas. This is also very close to Universal Studios and you can avoid a lot of LA traffic but staying here. It's safe, it's quiet, it's clean.
