This is not your usual hotel. Google says this is “serviced accommodation”. The reality is that this is halfway between a hotel (lovely comfy bed and gorgeous duvet, good modern bathroom) and a youth hostel (no kettles of tvs in rooms). For the price and the location, I recommend it. Accept it for what it is and you’ll be fine. Wonderful friendly staff. Decent breakfast for the add on price. They’ve tried really hard with the decor and lighting. Well done, Malacuna!

Hotel was a convenient walking distance to shops and bars. No frills, but works for a quick stay. Only issue we had was half our room did not have power. Front desk thought we didn't know how to use the outlets so they came and confirmed. Said someone would be by to fix it. Several days later we still didn't get power restored. Very inconvenient and the front desk staff didn't seem to care about getting it resolved.

I was pleasantly surprised at the double room we booked. The private bathroom was excellent, king size double bed was very comfortable. The only issue we had was the room had no black out blind, so the room was very light from first thing in the morning as it was south facing.

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, due to lots of reasons. People banging on doors at all hours, rooms far to hot and cramped, beds very hard and uncomfortable and the amount of people having loud love making made me think I was in a brothel. Screaming shouting etc, we was booked in for 2 nights but checked out after one night due to not getting any sleep due to the aforementioned reasons and paid for another hotel. Under no circumstances would I recommend this place. Not happy at all and could of completely ruined our weekend.

This hostel was a short walk into the town center and Liverpool lime street train station. We weren't told very much when it came to booking in so didn't really know if there was breakfast being served here. The only issue was it's a very noisy place to stay so you might not get a good night's sleep, but would be good for the night lifers out there.

Everything was good, although in a heat wave the room was very hot. Staff provided fans to take to the rooms to help. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Useful notes for bookers: Large bathroom Large bed Plenty of power sockets Lift was very small but the stairs were large and airy, not too steep Trendy decor and relaxed vibe Very basic No tea and coffee facilities in the room Several convenience stores on the same street Short walk from Lime Street, Bold Street, and Liverpool One
