This hotel is simply amazing, the property is well kept: beautiful landscape, garden, restaurants and bar. We had breakfast and dinner which were well prepared. The breakfast came with fresh squeezed orange juice, variety of bread, crepes, meat and dinner menu has a wide selection, including kid’s plate, seafood, meat and desserts. They have an extensive dessert menu also.
Everyone is simply attentive, kind, and welcoming. Receptionists, servers, and team members were fluent in English. Customer service is superb compared to other hotels of its class.
There is a small playground, tennis court and a cage for chickens and rabbits. The receptionists gave us food to feed the rabbits.
This hotel is about an hour to Mont st. Michel and short driving distance to the Normandy D-day war memorial and museums.
I felt so at peace being in the country side of France in this luxurious updated hotel. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Being here really take you back in time.

We grew to love this place. We had a deluxe room which was one of the largest. At first it felt small but once we organized our belongings, we found it comfortable and charming. The bath is modernized and lighting and power outlets abundant. The grounds are very pretty and full of history. The daily cleanings were thorough and appreciated. My only suggestion would be to enhance the seating. We had a desk chair and small side chair leaving only the bed as a place to relax after a long day of touring sites.
We would definitely come back
