This place was really cute! It was such a beautiful location tucked away off the road. I remember seeing it and being so blown away by how beautiful it was, and the grounds are amazing as well. My only complaint is that the walls are thin, and our neighbors were quite loud, but that is not in the staff’s control so I am not marking the review down. It did not disrupt the quality of our stay overall, just be aware and maybe bring some earplugs. Otherwise, it was fantastic.

Paid almost £300 for one night including dog fees, and it was nowhere near worth it. The room was tired and poorly maintained, with mould around the windows, damp, cracked walls and tiles, and dirty-looking carpets. Dinner and breakfast were both overpriced and disappointing. The only saving grace was the lovely staff and the beautiful location. We only stayed because we’d driven a long way with our four-year-old. Sadly, we wouldn’t return or recommend it at this price.

The spa facilities were a treat, and the evening meals were excellent. The breakfast options were quite extensive, but the service could have been better.

Beautiful grounds and location !!!
The hotel inside needs updating screams for a makeover , it’s smelly : like damp / mould the carpets are old and dirty but the decor is nice and has the potential to be massively improved , the outside is not reflected inside like they are 2 different properties . Staff all nice and friendly , pool could do with some loungers as there are only 4 to be shared by all families how ? Also the amount of chemicals used in the pool area made our eyes sting and was unpleasant , the pool temperature was perfect . The family room was basic again needs decorating and new carpets , if you have a pool automatically robes should be available in rooms . Breakfast was nice very tasty cooked bfast my husband enjoyed the black pudding said it was the best ! The only thing could be improved is that staff should replenish the bread , pastries etc as quick run out and staff didn’t check
