Fantastic location with a swim platform straight into the lake. Friendly staff and good food made for a lovely short stay.

Great historic hotel with amazing views!

This was a tough one. The location was breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel is situated out on the point and you get a clear view of the mountains. The rooms are somewhat dated as it is an older hotel. I would give it a 4.5 and although I like modern hotels, I would definitely stay there again.

We were treated amazing. We even had a sauna in the room. The supper is multi course and it’s was so good! Location is excellent, Breakfast was blow away! The staff did so much to make sure we were happy….If you travelling to Zell Am See you WANT to stay here.

This property offers a tremendous value at low-season rates. It’s positioned on a peninsula jutting out into the lake so the views are unmatched. The half-board program provides dinner and a very substantial afternoon food offering for a minor upcharge and is well worth it. Breakfast is also a large and varied spread. While it’s an older building, I found the essentials functional, and the room was relatively spacious. Service was friendly and unfussy; housekeeping was kind enough to leave an apple most days. One minor issue is it’s not the quietest: it’s located next to the railroad tracks so passing trains are audible, and one morning I awoke to gardening equipment that should probably have been run later in the day.

Incredible hotel with friendly staff, an amazing pool, easy access to town and skiing, and a pleasant Austrian charm.

Excellent mountain views

This is a great hotel. The breakfast is awesome The upstairs bar has beautiful wood paneling. The view of the lake from our room was amazing.

The staff was incredible helping navigate the property. They let us use bikes to ride around the lake. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Such an amazing experience

Nice view on the lake. I was expecting more given it’s a grand hotel. I thought it would be nicer. Our GPS had trouble getting us to the hotel which was separated from town by the train.
