Overall our stay was great! Located in a beautiful town surrounded by great views of the mountains. Our room was spacious with 2 separate bedrooms. Enjoyed the balcony view. Breakfast was pretty basic, but learned that that’s what’s common in many hotels in Europe. Also common is that the reception to check-in closes pretty early, usually 8pm. So if you get there late, they just leave your key in an envelope. We didn’t quite like that there was no one onsite for any questions or emergencies. Especially being from out of the country and not speaking the language. But when we finally met the receptionist in the morning when checking out, she was very nice.

This hotel is located only a short distance from Neuschwanstein castle. Lovely area, restaurant on one side. Room was clean and comfortable, but first noticed the cooking smells from restaurant. Once it was closed it wasn't a problem. The room had a nice balcony with a table and chairs by which to enjoy the mountains scenery. Coffee/tea kettle, refrigerator. No elevator or AC, but we had balcony door open and was cool at night. Short stairway so not at all bad. Plenty of parking. Very well-lit bathroom. Reading lights by bed and lights over coffee area but could use a bit more light in room. Overall very nice room. Restaurant is not part of hotel, lots of locals eat there, food was good and not too pricey. Very nice breakfast, hard boiled eggs (can ask to have eggs fried or scrambled), cold cuts, cheeses, breads, coffee, etc. Overall it was a good stay!

Great location, ample parking, clean and orderly accommodation, extensive breakfast and extremely helpful staff. We shall be visiting again!

Liked the countryside location and proximity to the castle.

Nice clean hotel and good breakfast. The room for 4 persons was actually two separate rooms joined together, so there was plenty of space. The onsite restaurant is closed on Thursdays which we didn't anticipate. Not a lot of other restaurants nearby but there is a great grocery store in walking distance.

Very convenient location. Simple but clean. Breakfast was good.

It was a very nice room with a big balcony. There was a lot to choose from for breakfast. The staff were very friendly. It was a good location for visiting the area.
