Very good air conditioning, shutters blocked out the light well allowing us to sleep in, breakfast was nice and standard for Italy. Breakfast starts late at 8:30am which made it difficult to utilize when attending tours. The location of the hotel is perfect right next to the market which is central to the entire city.

Pros: large rooms, air conditioned, kind of clean Cons: bathroom not air conditioned, shower leaks water, only a sheet on the bed no comforter, difficult to reach any kind of hotel staff for help.

This hotel was quaint, charming, and exceptionally clean. Its location is truly in the heart of Florence and puts you exactly where you want to be for exploring the city. The breakfast was excellent and definitely helped make up for the frustration we experienced upon arrival. Finding the hotel was extremely difficult—we spent nearly an hour going in circles through crowded streets and pedestrian areas trying to locate it. Because the entrance is so hidden, I strongly suggest the hotel provide guests with a simple map or more detailed arrival instructions before check-in. My other concern was the temperature. During our stay, Florence was around 100°F, and the air conditioning struggled to keep the room comfortable. In the summer heat, improved cooling would make a significant difference to the guest experience. Overall, the hotel’s cleanliness, charm, central location, and wonderful breakfast made for a pleasant stay. With clearer directions and stronger air conditioning, it would be an outstanding place to stay in Florence.

No me gustó el baño , la bañera en medio de la habitación y muy peligrosa , la decoración me parecía que estaba en África no en Florencia , le pedimos ayuda al personal para un taxi y nos enviaron a una señal que no encontramos , cuando lo ideal y normal es que nos pidan uno , al final pedimos Uber cuando ya pensábamos íbamos a perder el vuelo , hay detalles que cuestan poco y valen mucho , otra cosa son tres plantas sin ascensor para subir las maletas es incómodo , la verdad no volvería a este hotel .

Very nice. Room is clean. I especially like the homemade breakfast and coffee, and the vibe👍Walk distance to almost everywhere.

In the Heart of Florence it’s an older hotel but non the less wonderful! Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Breakfast is delicious and well thought through. The room was excellent and really nice was the table in the lobby/sitting area with fruits, wine and limoncello for the guests. What a wonderful addition to a perfect stay.
