The hotel’s location was very convenient and close to many tourist attractions in Amsterdam. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, the fridge in our room did not work. The room could get very hot, but thankfully they provided us with a fan and air conditioning. The bathroom was clean, and the toilet, sink, and shower all worked properly. The TV had some good channels as well. The staff were respectful and courteous. Overall, the hotel was okay.

Good breakfast, large room under the eaves. Good location for museums and Vondelpark. Quiet area.

The hotel location is great and the staff is friendly and helpful. The building is a bit older and worn but they are working on upgrades. There was a bit of construction going on. Our room required taking an elevator and then a set of stairs so if accessibility is an issue be sure to mention that. Rooms were clean and quiet, amenities as advertised.

The positive was that the breakfast was OK, and it is right by the Vondelpark. The room cleaning staff were friendly. The room was tiny with a stained carpet, only a tiny light accessible from the bed and a toilet so cramped that I couldn't easily sit down.

Yes the room was clean and the layout of the room was good that four beds fit well and there was a great shower that you can walk into. There was a kettle and mugs. The reception gave us a hair dryer as the one in the bathroom was dangerous and gave off a smell of burning so we were grateful to be given a spare. This is the hotel we would choose again.

staff were really nice as always. if i needed something for my room, they got me it there and then aswell, clean spacious room, i had a superior double and loved my week stay!

Fair Value and Convenient Location, but Let Down by Service The hotel is conveniently located, around 15 minutes by tram from the city centre, and the rooms feel modern and recently renovated. On arrival, the room was quite cold, as one radiator was not working and the other only partially warmed, but it became comfortable after a few hours. The lobby could use some attention, as the carpet felt worn compared to the updated rooms. Service was mixed, with staff coming across as a bit rigid and not particularly attentive. We requested breakfast slightly earlier than the standard time due to an early tour, but the reception staff were unable to accommodate the request, which suggested a lack of flexibility.

After reading several reviews about bed bugs, I was a bit worried about staying here. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I was assigned a bed in the basement, and after checking it immediately, I found bed bugs. I went straight to reception and showed them video evidence with the current date and time, but the staff member denied that it was their room. I was eventually moved to a room on the 3rd floor, where I had no further issues. On the third day of my stay, there was also a 30-minute power cut. The hotel is only a one-minute walk from Vondelpark and is located on a street lined with luxury brands. However, there are no restaurants or supermarkets on that street—you need to walk toward Leidseplein to find any dining or grocery options. Noise was also an issue, as I could hear other guests walking up and down the corridors and loud banging during the day.
