The check in was smooth with a complementary drink. The staff was attentive and the host, Martha Nunez, will go out of her way to make you comfortable. This is a diamond in the rough type of hotel in that they could have charged much more then what I paid. The building took me back to Spain and my room, Antonio, had a great view of the river. It’s a 5 star hotel with 3 star prices centrally located near the the ocean. Definitely will be back and ask for the same room. I highly recommend staying there and breakfast was along the river. A must hotel on your list!

Very cute boutique hotel. Super friendly staff, great location and relaxing pool. The welcome margaritas were delicious and the hotel is close to everything g in the romantic zone. Look forward to staying there again. The staff Martha, Rigo and Ivan were so friendly and made sure your stay was comfortable!

Breakfast included seasonal fresh fruit and juice and was a nice way to start the day. The hot tub was lukewarm which was actually a perfect temperature as the weather was hot (!!) and a lukewarm dip was most refreshing!

Beautiful hotel! Has lots of character. I found myself taking photos of every corridor and corner. Staff super helpful and friendly. You are a few blocks back from the beach area but we really liked that, it was nice to be a bit removed from the craziness of the beach.

Big spacious room. Breakfast by the pool or by the river. friendly staff. Loved this place.

The rooms were very clean and the bedding was crisp and cozy. The staff is outstanding. Wonderful breakfast on the patio each morning. We loved it!

I’m Solo traveller from Canada , it felt like home at Garlands, bed was so comfy !!! Staff were honest, helpful and friendly . Neighbourhood was safe and so culturally rich, short walk to everything . I will def return. Highly recommend Garlands !
