Lovely hotel in heart of Bangkok

It’s my first time staying with Okura Prestige Bangkok, and I was deeply impressed by the staff and amenities offered by the hotel. Ms. Pimsuda who’s an elegant young lady greets me & arranged the check in for me. The service level is by the the highest I’ve ever had among all Bangkok 5 stars hotels I have ever experienced. I live in Conrad most of the time due to its location & safety (close to American Embassy) and I never noticed the Okura Prestige although I passed by many times. I’m lucky enough to be upgraded to the Presidential Suite by Ms: Pimsuda and the view of the room with its amenities are simply amazing. The location of the hotel is actually one of the best in Bangkok. 3 mins walking to Central Embassy where offered all brands you need and the restaurants you like, 4 face Buddha is also 10 mins walking from the hotel. There is a 7-11 on the first floor connected to the building, with pharmacy & Japanese restaurant there, you could just stay in the hotel all day without going out if the weather is not preferred. The food and bar of the restaurant is also something I like, with the view at night, you will fall in love with the city of Bangkok. I’ll definitely stay with this hotel again next time.

Very nice hotel however the iconic Okura show some aging signs. Location is petfect, food is exceptional. The service is lazy espetially compared to other hotels in Bangkok. The rooms are a bit dated but still okay. Read the reviews carefully on the rooms because some are really disappointing. Another thing that disappointed was the pool: it is an owen, extremly hot and even the pool water gets boiling. Beyond taking a couple of nice pictures , the pool is anything but relaxing. It is a good place to stay 2-3 nights.

Best hotel and breakfast

The hotel stay was excellent! Facilities were great and hotel room was well-maintained. All the staff were attentive and always kind & helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. Enjoyed our stay very much and will be back :)

Over all, this hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Bangkok. From it's location to their breakfast, executive lounge and the friendly staffs, I am extremely pleased with it.

Fantastic hotel in a great location, with a beautiful ambience and top-notch amenities. The property is impeccably clean and the overall vibe is excellent. However, the breakfast was a disappointment for a five-star international standard. The food was average, fruit options were very limited, and there was a complete lack of customized options. The service at breakfast also fell short, as they weren't able to cater to specific requests. Great stay overall, but the morning dining experience definitely needs an upgrade to match the rest of the hotel’s high standards.
