I had a fantastic stay at the Yiwu Marriott Hotel. The location is perfect—right next to District 1 of the International Trade City, which made everything so convenient. There’s also a shopping mall nearby, ideal for an evening stroll or grabbing dinner after a long day. The night market is only about a 6-minute drive away and is definitely worth visiting. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, and beautifully maintained. I stayed in the apartments, and while the breakfast selection there was slightly more limited compared to the main hotel, there was still a good variety. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of options available. The Chinese restaurant was absolutely lovely, with great food and a nice atmosphere. The only small point is that having a few more English-speaking staff would make the experience even smoother. The City Bistro, in my opinion, was slightly overpriced compared to other options nearby. Overall, the staff were all warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. It really has everything you would expect from a solid 4-star hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean room friendly staff

This hotel was 10/10. The safe was helpful. The breakfast was great and had enough options because i am a picky eater. The rooms were cleaned exceptional everyday. It is right by the market, so we walked there everyday. Food options in walking distance and a shopping mall for personal shopping. Great location.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, confy rooms

The room itself was fantastic: big, spacious, and featured a separate shower and tub, which I really appreciated. The internet connection was also good and reliable. However, the check-in process was frustratingly slow. Despite it being an international hotel, the staff took a considerable amount of time to scan documents and locate our reservation. The main issue, though, was with breakfast. I felt genuinely scammed. On Hotels.com, it stated breakfast was $8 USD and offered the option to book with or without it. I chose to book without. Upon arrival, I was charged 125 yuan per person, which, while a standard price for these hotel chains, wouldn't have been a huge deal if the quality had been acceptable. Unfortunately, the breakfast quality was terrible. There was only one person at the egg station, and guests were constantly inquiring about their orders. It was clear he was short-staffed, and I felt bad for him. Beyond that, the food on the buffet was dried out and largely inedible. It was a truly disappointing breakfast experience.
