Amazing food (especially breakfast) beautiful spacious rooms, staff were on another level of friendly and helpful. The resort itself is beautiful and clean. My only gripe is the beach waters are too rough to really swim in and the beach itself is a public beach so there was some trash on it but that’s not the resorts responsibility. If you are hoping to go swimming at the beach you may not want to do it at the resort. Besides that our stay was a 10/10.

Huge property with a great kids club that’s ideal for families. However it’s far from restaurants and the food in the resort is very average. Premises are old but clean, staff are friendly and helpful but don’t communicate well in English resulting in a few misunderstandings. Housekeeping takes a long time to come around and most days our room wasn’t cleaned til mid afternoon. It feels like this hotel is so big it struggles to be managed properly. Tolerating it for the kids club and activities but definitely on my own I wouldn’t return.

Returning to the JW Marriott after 15 years (2011, 2026) exceeded all expectations in terms of amenities, professional staff, great food, excellent gym, skilled massage therapists, awesome room, well-maintained pools, and beach access. Highly recommended. Thank you Marriott!

The JW Marriott Resort was absolutely breathtaking. The property is massive, with so many areas and restaurants that I didn’t even get a chance to experience everything due to time constraints. I stayed for a week in December, and the Christmas decorations throughout the resort added such a magical, festive touch—it truly elevated the entire atmosphere. From the moment my car arrived at the hotel, I was completely speechless. There was this overwhelming feeling of awe that’s honestly hard to put into words. It was one of those moments where you just feel how special a place is. My room exceeded all expectations. I stayed in a deluxe cabin, and it was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed. The bathroom opened into the bedroom, which made the room feel even more luxurious and open—just stunning. The staff truly made this experience unforgettable. A very special shout-out to OY at the concierge desk, who planned my tours and went above and beyond to make sure my vacation was seamless and memorable. She genuinely took care of me. The front desk team and the JW Café staff were also exceptional—warm, professional, and attentive at every interaction. Another huge shout-out goes to the team at Ginja Restaurant. If you’re traveling solo and craving amazing Thai food, this is a must-visit. The staff makes you feel right at home, and the food is outstanding.
