I really enjoyed my stay at Casco Viejo. I recommend purchasing the breakfast plan. The food was great. I enjoyed the area for walking. Not too far from Panama City.

We only stayed for one night but had a great overall experience. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The hotel amenities were high quality and our room was very clean. The only "con" to report is that the hotel could use a little TLC in some areas.

Beautiful hotel with great history! The location in Casco Viejo was perfect for our visit to Panama City and we were easily able to walk or order a car/Uber from there for various trips. We had a family suite, which was a king and full size bed room that worked well for our family of 3. The rooftop pool is small, but lovely and the restaurant near the pool was great with friendly staff. The Central Hotel is a gorgeous place and the staff at the front desk, door and restaurants were all nice and helpful.

Great location to everything. In the heart of Casco Viejo. Easy walks to get around. It really central. Room was a good size, had a balcony. Breakfast buffet was awesome! Gym was good. The pool is on the rooftop, very cute. Only thing it can get noisy in the area. Maybe location of my room. Still a great hotel. As a solo Traveler, I felt safe at all times in the hotel and all around Casco Viejo day and night.

Hermoso hotel, muy céntrico y el personal muy amable

We really enjoyed our stay in one of the family rooms. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast was really good. The only reason I did not rate 5 star was that the air conditioning control was not working well and the room was really cold. The staff was very friendly.

This hotel is a gem — clean, modern yet also classic in the heart of the casco viejo or old town of Panama City. There is beautiful live piano music which greets you upon check in, an excellent breakfast buffet and a lovely rooftop pool and pool bar. Staff is super friendly too. Highly recommend.
