I booked a solo room for a couple days for the CDMX half marathon. Area that the hotel is located in felt safe, with security onsite 24/7. The room is put well together, organized and clean. Yes it was small, but I spent most of my time exploring the city so it was not an issue. There is an air conditioning unit inside controlled by a remote which is great. Breakfast was located in the terrace rooftop area, with the food selections being good. Now some cons: As others have mentioned in the reviews, the walls of the room are thin. So much so you can hear when someone next door turns on the water faucet. It wasn't too much of a bother for me but definitely noticeable. Also, it might have been the room I was assigned to but there is only one trash can and it's in the bathroom. It would have been great if there were a second trash can, and maybe another one for recyclables. There is a gym onsite as well but was out of service during my stay which was unfortunate. Hopefully, not an issue for those looking to book. Lastly (and this might be a preference thing), but the TV is a standard TV with no smart features and can't connect to Wi-Fi. Not the end of the world but something to make a note of.

The room was great, smaller than expected though. The staff was very friendly and assisted in English which i highly appreciated. My only gripe was the room i stayed in (216) there was a noise that can be heard 24/7 of a constant winding like a turbine fan winding on and off which made it IMPOSSIBLE to sleep without turning on the air conditioning to drown out that noise. Other than this the stay was great, lovely room, nice hot shower

This hotel has a lot of personality! I thought it was excellent value for money. It’s a great location for visiting the Roma Norte area. Bed was comfy. Shower was powerful! Free bottle of water thrown in every day. Air con helped us keep the room nice and cool. I would recommend to anybody who wants to stay in a vibrant part of Mexico City.

the room had no chair or stool , not table only a high counter top where you can set your lap top, but no stool in the room. i had to lay or sit up in the bed to work on my computer. i could not bring a snack or food into the room because there is not place for sitting. Breakfast options were basic, nothing special. the same thing you find in a motel 6 or any other budget hotel in the states. the difference, at this hotel is i had to walk thru the rain to get to the service area. the breakfast is served on the roof where you have no option but walk thru the elements . thank goodness it was only one person in the room. the square footage was less than 180. the bed was comfortable for people under 6' tall. this is a retro industrial style cool vibe cool look but is not built for comfort. sleeping in the bed is similar to sleeping in a closet. you are boxed with the TV mounted on the wall inside your closet. they claimed to have a gym. the gym consisted of a bike that is outdated and in need of repair, a treadmill that does not work and the screen clearly says "replace the stop button". ellietical was also in poor condition. this so called gym looks great but is more like a gym you have in your garage. this is a great neighborhood and great people work in this hotel, however , for the same price you can get much more bang for your buck in the same neighborhood.

Breakfast was stellar!!!! And the room is adorable. it was mostly quiet except early morning when people are coming and going. Our room was not stocked well with soap or towels but otherwise we really loved it.
