Lovely hotel beside the river in Coimbra. Very walkable to the centre of town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a fantastic view of the river and was very spacious. The buffet breakfast was great, with lots of different options. Highly recommend!

No water or coffe on the rooms, they only give you water the first day, staff is good and does what they can but hotel needs to upgrade, tried going to the gym at 5am as I usually do and they only open at 7am, the a\c broke and they had to fix it, their systems are very old and need an urgent upgrade. The pics on Expedia show the beach but it’s actually half a mile away, you have to cross a street and then is a public and you don’t feels safe there. Not the best experience.

Breakfast was very good. Staff provided tremendous assistance, especially tips of places to visit.

Very nice property. Great pool. Excellent breakfast buffet. Only negative was the pillows were too fat.

Nice hotel , friendly peoples

The room was very clean. I would make sure that I had a view of the pool or the water if I stayed there next time. We were across from a pretty ugly building not a huge fan of the carpet. The service was great, the bartender the front desk people the massage staff were all great. The layout of this place is a little weird. We have to go through the dining area to get to the pool but once you get out there, the pool is beautiful.

Beautiful hotel, great amenities, superb breakfast buffet and convenient to downtown.

Good news and bad news. Good news: We had a broken suitcase handle when we arrived. On mention to the concierge, the maintenance man arrived in 5 minutes with toolbox in hand and in another 5 minutes he had it fixed. Yay! Five stars to that guy! Bad news: my wife and I had a couples massage and were charged double the price quoted to me. I felt ripped off. That marred a wonderful stay. So only four stars.

The room was clean. Nothing special, similar to what you find in an USA city hotel. The breakfast was extra special. If you can't find something to eat then you don't like breakfast. The hotel validated the parking ticket for the garage below the hotel. The parking garage included about a dozen spots to charge an EV.
