This is our third stay at the hotel, and we always find it enjoyable and great value. Our only criticism this time would be that they were quite slow to replenish the breakfast buffet, despite us having breakfast during one of the earlier, quieter slots. All staff were friendly and helpful and clearly working hard, but our experience at the Drayton Manor theme park later that day led us to suspect there may be a resort wide issue with staffing levels, which is a shame because that was the only thing that prevented our stay being rated five stars.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Check-in was very smooth and easy, which made us feel welcome straight away, The hotel was great for families with children. They organised evening activities for kids, and my three children absolutely loved them. It made our stay even more enjoyable. I would especially like to thank a gentleman at the reception desk who was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to assist us whenever we needed anything, and his outstanding customer service made a real difference to our experience. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so pleasant. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to other families. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice friendly staff

So glad we booked this hotel as a treat for my grandchildren. Plenty of parking right outside the hotel. Staff were welcoming and check in was very quick. Rooms were a good size we were a family of 6 across 2 rooms and there was more than enough space for the 3 toddlers to play. Rooms were clean and bright. The play park could do with a little update but as it was only for half an hour while we waited for drinks the children enjoyed it. Children’s entertainment on a night is a lovely idea couple of hours dancing and games before bed wore them out. Free crazy golf kept my teen entertained too. The only complaint I had was we ordered drinks and it took over 20 mins to arrive but other than that it was a lovely child friendly hotel

Here’s a polished review you could post: We recently stayed at Drayton Manor Hotel and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. When we arrived, there were two members of staff on Reception. One was on the phone dealing with a query, while the other appeared to be dealing with the same issue on the computer. Despite clearly waiting to check in, we were completely ignored for over 15 minutes, very poor customer service. We were also unhappy to be charged £9 for parking, as this was never mentioned when we made the booking through Hotels.com. No explanation when asked. Food options that evening were extremely limited, with only pizzas and sides available. The portions were small and very overpriced for what you received. The room itself had not been cleaned properly, with rubbish left on the floor, and the soap dispenser was almost empty. The only positive part of our stay was that the towels were very soft and fluffy. Overall, the hotel did not meet expectations, shame, I will not be recommending it.

We stayed at the hotel over the weekend for a wedding, and overall it was a really pleasant experience. The hotel itself was clean, tidy and well presented throughout, and every member of staff we came across was genuinely friendly and helpful. Our room (333) was modern and well equipped, with fast Wi-Fi that was easy to connect to, a large TV with plenty of channels, and a really handy wall plate with HDMI and USB connections. There were also plenty of plug sockets around the room, which is always appreciated. The bathroom was clean and modern, and the shower was powerful and got very hot, although the temperature control was quite sensitive, so it could be a bit fiddly to get just right. The air conditioning worked well, and the room was nice and quiet overall. There was also a window you could open, although it was a little awkward to close again. The only real downside in the room was the bed. It was quite hard and a bit too bouncy for our liking, and it felt like it dipped slightly in the middle, so we kept rolling towards each other during the night. We had dinner in the brasserie on the Friday evening. I had the pizza and my wife had the pulled pork burger. The food was decent and reasonably priced, although it came out a bit lukewarm rather than properly hot. That said, the staff were great and service was smooth 👍 Breakfast was actually a highlight. It’s usually where hotels fall short, but this one was surprisingly good except coffee machine is horrendous.
