Clean, comfortable room. Courteous, friendly and extremely helpful staff at all times. Very good buffet breakfast. Great location with easy access into the city of Berlin and to the lovely city of Potsdam. Cannot fault the hotel or staff in any way - excellent stay

Excellent location for a quite stay; wonderful reception staff; food at the restaurant was also excellent as well as the breakfast.

It was ok property, but they gave me the closest room to the lobby on the ground floor, and it was really noisy, like I could hear every conversation, which was very bothersome.

It was perfectly located for my business trip (at Potsdam University) and the main building seemed fabulous. I was super excited to stay there with all its big glass windows and beautiful river location…unfortunately despite the fact I got a suite, they put me in the boring building with no view across the street (see photos for the two buildings)

This hotel is in a university area...rooms across street from check in...receptionist was lovely...but we would not stay here again...room vvv basic and you would need a car to stay here...too basic.

Pre-booked online, super-easy check-in. Lovely clean room. Great breakfast on the lovely patio overlooking the river!

Pleasant hotel in good waterfront location, decent bar, nice breakfast. Staff and service were nice but unreliable. When we checked in, the receptionist told us we had paid (by credit card), and then after we had left, they threatened to call the police saying we had not paid. Then when we phoned up to pay, a few days later, they could not find our booking, so the saga continues... Don't you realise that not everyone has the time to spend on the phone and mindless webchats trying to sort out your mistakes?

At the front desk, a young man (sorry, did not get his name) helped us to get eveny thing set, he was very helpful and friendly. Will stay there again!

Service is really good and the restaurant is great. On the minus side, I almost had to cancel the trip and they would not make any effort on the cancellation policy although I could have become a regular customer. That said the experience once there was really good, so I still would recommend it. The lack of gym is a shame. In summer you can run along the river so I'll probably ise it more seasonally.
