Staff was lovely and hotel was incredible

My husband & I were really excited about spending almost a week at this quite expensive hotel, only to find out that the spa we were so looking forward to after our hikes, was closed for renovations during our entire stay. Furthermore, the hotel room was quite small, didn't have a mini fridge or air-conditioning (which would have been great to have due to outside & church bells ringing during the night) and the beds were quite short even for me who is only 5 feet 8 inches. Definitely not worth the almost $400 per night cost & would not stay there again. Otherwise the location was good, the all inclusive breakfast was good (although could have used more variety throughout our longer stay), the gym was great & the outdoor screen for viewing the World Cup was amazing.

The location was great, so close to the train station. The property is lovely. The breakfast was very good. We were disappointed that the spa was closed. We needed more electrical plugs in our room. Wengen is beautiful!

Very nice, modern hotel with excellent views of the valley and immediate proximity to the train (without much noise from the train). Also a very short walk to one of the gondola/trams. Breakfast was good and was included in our rate. Would definitely stay again. 10/10.

Conveniently located directly across from the train station. Beautiful traditional hotel with a wonderful staff. Some of the amenities were closed during our stay for refurbishing but otherwise we loved it. The beds were good, breakfast was ok but not quite as good as we've had elsewhere in the region. Best of all are the mountain views and the Lauterbrunnen valley below! The views are stunning. We could have sat our on our balcony all day. It's also right in town (Wengen) and close to everything. We would stay there again if we ever return.

Close to train station and gorgeous view

Beautiful hotel at a reasonable price in the heart of the Jungfrau region. Very centrally located to all of the nice hikes. The staff was awesome - very kind and helpful. The gym was amazing, buffet breakfast was awesome. Unfortunately the spa and hot tub were under renovations when we stayed but we were able to obtain vouchers to use an outdoor pool nearby! Also the world cup was on during our stay and they set up a big screen outside I the courtyard and played the games! Very caring management. The only thing that could be improved is the rooms could use mini fridges. Otherwise it was great!

The rooms were great but no AC but luckily a mgr brought up fans.

Such a great experience staying at this hotel. From check-in to check-out, staff were very professional, welcoming, kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back! 10/10

Paid high season rate. We are fitness oriented- the ad did NOT INDICATE THE ENTIRE FITNESS AREA/SPA WAS CLOSED for renovation. An accommodation should be made. Staff and Breakfast excellent, room was small and NO SPA😡
